VINTAGE Brown Speckled Porcelain URINAL / BED PAN - Great Conversation Piece!
This is a vintage porcelain urinal/bed pan that was commonplace in homes before indoor plumbing. This particular bed pan was hanging high up in our bar/restaurant we recently sold after a good 44 years. Back in the day, customers would throw tip money into the urinal and it would come out the spout and into a chamber pot! There is a tiny hole where the bed pan was nailed to the wall. There is also a repair to a chip on the bed pan rim. Please see photos.
The urinal measures 16 inches long by 11.5 inches at it widest point.
The spout is 2 inches in diameter and about 4 inches tall.
The other end of the bed pan is five inches wide.
The bed pan is heavy and weighs 4.5 pounds without packing materials.
This is quite the conversation piece and would be great hanging in a man cave, pub or bar!
