U2 Pride in the Name of Love Original 1984 Poster Promo.
VERY Rare Original vintage 1980s U2 poster
promoting the single “In the Name of Love,” the lead single on the band’s 1984 album The Unforgettable Fire. Measures 24”x36”. It is black and white on matte paper and features a photo of the band at center and a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr at the bottom, about whom the song was written. The poster is in fair to good condition with some material loss and staining at the upper left corner; several closed tears to the left and right edges . The tears are confined to the white border area and do not affect the image or text. It has never been framed. It is a prime candidate for restoration or would display beautifully framed as is (though mending tape on reverse to stabilize the tears would be recommended). The name of the poster is written neatly on the back in black marker; it does not bleed through or show and is only visible when rolled for identification posters.
