Takara Jenny in lilac Barbie outfit

Description

This is Takara Jenny or one of her many friends. She has long 2-tone brown/blonde hair, rooted to be pulled up into a ponytail, and bangs. Her hair is somewhat dry feeling and tangled, and has some fly-aways. It might have been originally curly, but it's kind of flattened and tangled now. She is wearing gold-tone stud earrings and a ring on her right hand that I think are original. I got her nude over 20 years ago and put her in this Mattel Barbie outfit, which is untagged and  big enough that the back overlaps the velcro strip almost entirely. It consists of a lilac/pink/blue flowered top with spaghetti straps and a bow at the bust, a 2-tiered pleated skirt with a flower and silver cord bow detail, and white chunky Takara Jenny shoes. She also has a Takara doll stand. The outfit was new, and she has not been played with since arriving in my home. I don't believe she was played with before then, either. This doll is part of my personal collection. I will not undress the doll to check her for other marks or stains, but I didn't note any while handling and photographing her.
Jenny's arms and legs swing forward and back but not out to the sides. Her head does not tip, but it will turn. Her knees don't click, but they will bend and hold position. I believe she only has wires, not a knee mechanism, so too much bending might break the wires and make her legs floppy. Be aware of this so you do not expect her to function like Barbie. She is just over 11" tall and more slender than Barbie - hence the overly large top. She may fit in some contemporary Barbie clothes, but I don't know that for sure.
She has no box but will be shipped in a padded envelope to protect her. If you wish her shipped in a box for additional protection, I can do so, but please message me before paying as that may change the shipping cost. Shipping cost will depend on where you live. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 item.
This doll has been in my non-smoking home for several years. I have 3 cats who do not bother the dolls, but cat hair is not only a fashion accessory in this house, it's often a condiment. I try to keep them away, but don't be surprised if one or more hairs decide to hop a ride.
