Takara Jenny in blue pants

Description

This is Takara Jenny or one of her many friends. She has long brown hair that was rooted to be in 2 braids and bangs. Her original rubber bands were falling apart, but I was able to put new pink ones on to preserve her original hairstyle without it unraveling. She has a few fly-aways above the braids. She is wearing gold-tone stud earrings that I think are original. Her outfit doesn't have any tags that I can see, but it is either Takara or Mattel Teen Skipper. It fits fairly well. She also has panties on under the blue pants, so that leads me to think it is Takara. The blue pants have 4 lines of multicolored stitching across the legs at knee level.  The sleeveless jersey blouse has tiny ribbing at the neckline. She has pink ballet flat shoes and a Takara doll stand. She has not been played with since arriving in my home. I don't believe she was played with before then, either. This doll is part of my personal collection. I will not undress the doll to check her for other marks or stains, but I didn't note any while handling and photographing her.
Jenny's arms and legs swing forward and back but not out to the sides. Her head does not tip, but it will turn. Her knees don't click, but they will bend and hold position. I believe she only has wires, not a knee mechanism, so too much bending might break the wires and make her legs floppy. Be aware of this so you do not expect her to function like Barbie. She is just over 11" tall and more slender than Barbie. She may fit in some contemporary Barbie clothes, but I don't know that for sure.
She has no box but will be shipped in a padded envelope to protect her. If you wish her shipped in a box for additional protection, I can do so, but please message me before paying as that may change the shipping cost. Shipping cost will depend on where you live. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 item.
This doll has been in my non-smoking home for several years. I have 3 cats who do not bother the dolls, but cat hair is not only a fashion accessory in this house, it's often a condiment. I try to keep them away, but don't be surprised if one or more hairs decide to hop a ride.

. They will count towards any dispute. If you cannot tolerate imperfection, this item is probably not for you and you shouldn't bid on it. I am downsizing my collection and I cannot take things back or issue refunds.
I do not give partial refunds, and I will not separate dolls from outfits they are listed in. Don't even ask.

I use USPS shipping with tracking to send your item(s). If the tracking says it arrived, it arrived. If it's not there, that's your problem.
