108 pages.
The book is in good readable condition with a tight binding. The green cloth binding has a gilt title and the name of the previous owner on the cover, with minor staining and shelf wear.   Age toning is evident on the pages & many are “stained” with the imprints of the leaves which were preserved between the pages.  Some minor water stains and foxing is also evident.   It should be noted that the 17 dried grape leaf specimens are mostly intact and some of the leaves exhibit flaking (one specimen is small & fragmentary). Not all illustrated pages have specimens.
If you are into the scholarly study of the history of wine or the scientific study of wine, then this is a must book for your collection.
