This auction features Eight Pieces of Quimper Hand Painted Pottery Circa 1925. This group includes two cups with saucers, two handled bowls with Breton man and Breton woman, and two bread plates with floral center and yellow and blue bands. Each piece is marked on the base "HenRiot Quimper" or "HenRiot Quimper France" with a number underneath (see images). The bowls measure 6.5" from handle to handle and 2.25" tall, while the bread plates are approximately 6.75" in diameter. The larger cup with saucer measures 3.5" across the rim and 2.5" tall, while the smaller cup with saucer is 2.75" across the rim and 2" tall. As is typical with older Faience there are areas of missing glaze and minor chips (see images). These issues aside, this is surely an exciting find for collectors of Quimper France pottery. Please consider bidding today.
