Act Fast! Antique Victorian Vasculum - Botany Collecting Tin - RARE!

Description

Haven't you always wanted to go botanizing with a genuine vasculum? This rare and wonderful two-door plant-collecting tin has little violets on top. Likely European (Dutch), late 1800s, but I can't be certain. I believe the strap is original and made of hemp. There are some dents in the bottom, and also small chips in the paint (see photos), but this vasculum is entirely usable. And very charming. It graced my study for years -- but I'm downsizing and would love to see it go to a botanical collection or a good home.
