This listing is for the TAKARA ELLIE Doll from 1992, Mint in the Box, with a 1992 Brochure featuring the ELLIE Doll and her fashions. This doll is a friend of the Takara Jenny Doll, but Ellie is a bit taller. Made in Japan
This doll has long softly curled medium brunette hair, parted to the left side of her face, no bangs. She has big brown eyes, and creamy bright pink lips. She is wearing a slim, just above the knee length sleeveless bright pink cotton knit dress with a separate royal blue sheer scarf-like collar, that can be worn tied in the back or front. Comes with bright pink closed toe lower heel shoes, and a booklet on the 1992 Ellie doll and her fashions. This doll had been removed from the box, I had redressed and displayed her in a dust-free cabinet. She has now been returned to her original box, which is in excellent condition. There is a photo of the doll on the back of the box, which differs a bit from the actual doll. In the photo she has crimped hair and is wearing black hose and shoes. The doll actually has softly curled hair, no hose and red shoes. The photo of the doll in the brochure looks like the actual doll. Doll Stand Not Included.
